PROFILE

Patrícia Alexandra Teixeira Cavaco holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (FFUL) and has been a specialist in Hospital Pharmacy certified by the Portuguese Order of Pharmacists since 2011. In October 2004, she began her career as a pharmacist in the Pharmaceutical Services of Hospital de Sta. Cruz and, in November 2006, joined the Pharmaceutical Services of Hospital de S. Francisco Xavier, part of the Local Health Unit of Western Lisbon. Since 2023, she has served as a Guest Assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon. She is currently the President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Hospital Pharmacists for the 2023–2026 term.
