PROFILE

Luís Azevedo is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, at the Department of Community Medicine, Information and Health Decision Sciences; and a senior researcher at the RISE-Health – Health Research and Innovation – Research Centre and the RISE – Health Research Network – Associated Laboratory. He is currently the coordinator of the Thematic Line 6 – “TL6 – Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Data and Decision Sciences in Health” in the RISE-Health Research Centre and the Lead of the Research Group “Evidence and Decision Sciences in Health”. He is the director of the PhD program in Clinical and Health Services Research at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto; and coordinator of the Healthcare Policy branch of the PhD in Health Data Sciences. He is also currently the director of the Porto Associate Centre of Cochrane Portugal and member of the Portuguese Health Technology Assessment Commission at INFARMED.
