    WORK EXPERIENCE January 2024 – present – Clinical Research Physician at the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) – Clinical trial conception and management throughout the whole clinical trial cycle and phases. Focus on gastrointestinal and brain tumours. EORTC Headquarters representative to radioligand therapy task force. November 2022 – December 2023– Head of Oncology Care at CHIREC Clinique Sainte-Anne Saint- Rémy, Brussels September 2020 – December 2023 – Oncology Specialist at CHIREC Hospital Group, Brussels, Belgium. Main fields of interest: Breast, Gynaecologic, Gastrointestinal and Thoracic Tumours. Participation in several clinical trials. Oct 2018 – July 2020 - Oncology Specialist at Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Central, Lisbon, Portugal. Fields of interest: Breast, Gynaecologic and Gastrointestinal Tumours. Participation in several clinical trials. January 2013 – December 2017 – Medical Oncology residency at Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa, Francisco Gentil, Lisbon, Portugal. Focus on Sarcomas, Breast, Gynaecologic, Head and Neck and Urologic Tumours. During this time, I also developed a translational research project (Ovarian Cancer Nanochemistry and Theranostics project). May 2006 – July 2007 – Basic research investigator in the field of neurodegenerative sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, Lund, Swerden. SCIENTIFIC REVIEW AND ADVISORY ROLES December 2022 – present –External reviewer - drug national market approval and public reimbursement decisions - for the Portuguese National Health Agency (INFARMED), in the field of Oncology. Participation in UNGO-UCL Gynecologic Cancer Guidelines 2022 July 2018 – December 2023 – Oncology reviewer for the Health Information Research Unit at McMaster University, Canada Participation in several advisory boards until 2019 (Breast, Pancreas and Hepatobiliary Tumours) INDUSTRY WORK EXPERIENCE 2006 - Clinical research assistant trainee at Glaxo-Smith Kline, Lisbon, conducting clinical trial submission, managing and closure. 2005 - 2006 - Regulatory affairs intern at Schering-Plough Farma, Lisbon, working on the submission of product specifications to the Portuguese Health Agency. EDUCATION AND TRAINING 2013 – 2017 – Residency in Medical Oncology at Instituto Português de Oncologia de Lisboa, Francisco Gentil, Lisbon (IPOLFG), Portugal. 2013 - 2015 - Masters in Palliative Care, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Lisbon, Portugal. 2007 - 2011 – Masters in Medicine at Nova Medical School, Lisbon, Portugal. 1999 - 2005 – Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon.
