PROFILE

Graduated in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, with a Master’s degree in Oncology (specialization in Molecular Oncology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS, University of Porto), and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, also from ICBAS. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. My main research focus lies in the application of Bioinformatics and Data Science to the field of Oncology, with a particular interest in triple-negative breast cancer. Through the integrated analysis of high-throughput multi-omics data (from different models), I aim to uncover molecular profiles and identify ancestry-specific biomarkers with potential translational impact.
